Harnessing Disorder and Disaster in Responsive Narrative Systems

Donna Leishman has recently completed a practice-led PhD in interactive narrative at the Glasgow School of Art and is principal of 6amhoover.com. Her Masters in Design (1999-2000) produced the darkly romantic Little Red Ridinghood, which has been widely acclaimed. Donna has worked commercially in both Scotland and New York (with Bullseyeart.com) during the latter she was an Emmy award nominee for her work on the Rosie O’Donnell Show. Her responsive animations have also been showcased in both the New York Times and the Guardian Online. At present Donna is the programme leader in Illustration at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design within the School of Media Arts & Imaging where she continues her research into image, narrative and interaction.
